This spline-shaft starter drives a double gear which drives a 1-way starter clutch. Shop Notes***Starter double gear ID info: 9-spline uses a 18-tooth small gear and larger side of double gear measures 64mm diameter. 11-spline uses a 17-tooth small gear and larger side of double gear measures 62mm diameter.
